Lastolite Releases Highly Anticipated TriFlash and TriGrip Bracket

Lastolite’s new TriFlash has been garnering interest from people since before its release – now it is here and it is clear why everyone has been so excited.

The TriFlash (LL LA2412) is a finely crafted tilt-head which very cleverly provides three cold shoes to mount tilt head flash guns. This is not about getting more power; it’s about getting more volume of light on the subject, which will make the subject softer while conserving power and providing faster recycling times. The TriFlash was shown publicly for the first time at the WPPI (Wedding & Portrait Photographers International) Show in Las Vegas in February and was a huge hit and made it to the front page of the Strobist opening day of the show. Professional photographer Joe McNally recently used the TriFlash at his Dobb’s Ferry workshop and he loved it so much he can’t wait to get his own.

Lastolite’s extremely popular TriGrips were designed for hand holding but can also be held with a standard reflector holder. The new TriGrip Bracket allows a way to hold a small (18”) or medium (30”) TriGrip and put it at any angle necessary for the shot. The TriGrip Bracket includes an extending arm with cold shoe for a tilt head flash gun. With a TriGrip diffuser mounted in the bracket, this makes a terrific shoot through portable solution that gives a look similar to a softbox.

TriFlash
The TriFlash is a unique bracket to allow photographers to attach up to three flash guns on to one light stand. The bracket also features an umbrella socket and tilt head so the gun(s) can be used with a shoot through, reflective umbrella or any other type of diffusion or reflective materials. TriGrip Bracket
The TriGrip bracket (LL LA2430) is ideal for photographers who work alone and want to support the TriGrip reflector on a handle, lighting stand, tripod or any other type of fixing bracket. Simply place the molded TriGrip handle (small or medium size only) into the bracket and secure it in place with the strap. The ball joint connector enables you to then position the TriGrip exactly where you want leaving your hands free to operate the camera. The bracket can be used to support the TriGrip when working with ambient light or in conjunction with battery operated flash using the flash gun attachment arm to bounce light off the reflector’s surface or shoot through a diffusing panel.
